Taken from the upcoming brand new album ‘The Painful Truth‘ which is set to be released May 23rd Via FLG. Skunk Anansie has released a new music video for ‘Lost and Found’.
The dramatic song which opens with Skin’s lone vocal before a staccato piano and motif starts to accompany her is the highly striking example of the beauty, passion and drama which comes with the band’s for upcoming album ‘The Painful Truth’. The video was scripted and directed by Skin was shot in Munich, Mostly by the band and India Fleming, The video tells the story of Skin splitting into two personalities after bumping into a demon, The story told back to front to represent being lost and finding your way back.
Skin comments, “We wanted to evoke the loneliness and desperation that can occur in a split second by one tiny mistake. Any of us at any time can lose the security built up over a lifetime whether it be via an accident, or a sudden twist of fate.”
Skunk Anansie will also play a very special headline show near Bristol on the day of the album release (May 23rd). It takes place at Good Times at The Ridings, Chipping Sodbury and the band will be supported by Republica (tickets HERE)
The band have another run of huge European headline shows this summer before appearing as Special Guests in the UK at the two outdoor Smashing Pumpkins shows in August.
