Lordi, All for Metal and Crimson Veil in London 2024 - Electric Ballroom

The Electric Ballroom in London was buzzing with excitement as metalheads from all over the city gathered for a night of pure, unadulterated metal madness. The lineup promised a wild ride, with each band bringing their unique flavour to the stage.

Crimson Veil

First up was Crimson Veil, and let me tell you, they blew everyone away. Their sound was like nothing I'd ever heard - a perfect blend of haunting growls and deep, soul-stirring melodies that left the crowd in a trance. The lighting was on point too, adding this cinematic vibe that made the whole thing feel like a movie. It was over way too soon, but damn, did they leave an impression.

Crimson Veil might come as a newcomer band from the UK but with very experienced band members, with touring experience across UK, US and Mexico and with projects such as BirdeatsBaby, Hana Piranha and many other projects that you should check out!

All for Metal

Next thing I know, All for Metal is on stage, and it's like a bomb went off in the room. These guys came out of nowhere, and suddenly everyone was on their feet, ready to party. And boy, did they deliver. Hammers, swords, the whole shebang - it was a spectacle and a half. You could tell they were having the time of their lives up there, just embracing the ridiculousness of it all. Because that's what metal is all about, right? Escaping reality and having a damn good time doing it.

Lordi

But the real showstopper of the night was Lordi. Yeah, you know them - the guys who won Eurovision back in 2006 with their wild costumes and crazy antics. Well, they brought all of that and more to the Electric Ballroom. We're talking a full-on stage setup, complete with a coffin and all sorts of crazy props. It was like Kiss and Alice Cooper had a baby, and that baby was Lordi. The best part? They were so down-to-earth, just having a blast with the crowd and not taking themselves too seriously. And when they played their hits, the whole place was singing along like one big, happy metal family.

All in all, it was a night I'll never forget. From the otherworldly sounds of Crimson Veil to the over-the-top antics of All for Metal, and the unforgettable spectacle that was Lordi, it was a true celebration of everything that makes metal great. The theatricality, the passion, the sense of community - it was all there in spades. If you ever get the chance to catch a night like this, do yourself a favor and go. Trust me, you won't regret it.
