Belgians Suasion combine video games and metalcore in new single 'Enemy'

Rising Belgian metalcore band Suasion have released their new single 'Enemy'. The music video, directed by James Barbosa, will appeal to gaming aficionados due to its references to games such as Goldeneye 007 and Assassin's Creed.

Suasion are currently supporting Rise Of The North Star on their Crank It Up tour and will start their own UK tour later this month. The tour dates are listed below.

About 'Enemy', the band comments: "In contrast to our previous concept album, which was very narrative-focused, here we decided to take inspiration from atypical locations found in video games - the kind of locations we believe don't exist in reality. From there, we put all our creativity into creating a contemplative video. The biggest challenge, of course, is the location! If games like Goldeneye 007 on the N64 or Assassin's Creed bring back memories, you might feel nostalgic watching the music video for 'Enemy', observing these 'inverted pyramids'."

Suasion - Enemy

Originally from Belgium, the cinematic electronic metalcore band Suasion displays a certain arena style. The band mixes melodic hooks, punishing breakdowns and lyrics that penetrate the human soul, a blend that has earned them a contract with Atomic Fire Records in 2022. Blending the raw fury of metalcore with the dramatic atmosphere of modern rock and metal, Suasion cultivate a cinematic and dark sound with captivating and impactful music videos.
