Performing on the sunny Friday night at the Brudenell Social Club in Leeds is alternative rock band Marisa And The Moths, With support coming from London’s electronic rock act Hck9 and Melodic rock band Black Orchid Empire.
The vibe of this evening begins before you even step into the show with fans gather up in the Brudenell Social Club’s beer garden where the bands are enjoying there band pies and fans chatting away and catching up with each other. The Community that Marisa And The Moths has you automatically feel at home!
Hck9 – (Half Cut K9)
Kicking of the evening with the London Electronic Rock act Kck9. The rock heavy electronic trio sends vibrations throughout there set. Their unique sound really captures the crowd who are flowing in during their set. Thought tonights fans are a lot more in to there classic rock style I highly enjoyed there set they were fun, fresh and full of life with a unique style. Throughout the set they performed “At The End”, “Monsters”, and “Our Souls”. They were an amazing opening support act and I will Look forward to seeing them at their own shows!
Black Orchid Empire
Tonight main support Black Orchid Empire takes to the stage the three-piece rock band is one that I have been seeing advertised a lot recently so when seeing them on tonight’s bill I was excited for them! Having never listen to there music I quickly released I have heard it before and quickly got into enjoying there set alongside the filled up Brudenell. With song’s such as “Singularity” and “Angelfire” truly showcasing the tallant that Black Orchid Empire brings to their set with the crowd. With there strong sound and perfect stage presents I can’t wait to see Black Orchid Empire again soon!
Marisa And The Moths
We arrive to our headliners of this evening Marisa And The Moths! Having releasing their album “What Doesn’t Kill You” back in 2024 they band come out in full swing kicking there set off with “Needy” gets the crowd up and moving pushing forward towards the stage. The fans sing back word for word of in time with Marisa, Her strong and incredible vocals show throughout her entire set with “Fake It Till You Make It”. They just have so much fun performing with each other onstage which gives them such a friendly stage presents. Other songs throughout the set includes “Devil”, “How Did You Get So Weak” and finishing there set on “Who Are You Waiting for?”
